Our Pastor is Schylar Fields. He is a native of a small town in southern Ohio and has a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Shawnee State University. Schylar grew up in the home of a Baptist minister and has been involved in ministry since surrendering to God’s call at the age of nineteen. He has served in nearly every area of church ministry, such as Sunday school teacher, audio/visual tech, visitation and evangelism pastor, youth pastor, and also associate pastor. He loves God’s people and is excited for the privilege to serve the congregation at Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and the local community.
Schylar met the love of his life, Kara, just over a year ago, and they were married on July 11th of this year. She is a medical student at the University of Kentucky. They reside in Lexington.
Our Worship Leader is Debbie Mullaney. She is a native of Boyle County and has degrees in social work and religious education from Campbellsville University. Debbie began taking piano lessons at the age of five, and music has always been an important part of her life. She accompanied choirs, vocalists, and instrumentalists both in high school and college. She is both humbled and excited to serve God as the worship leader at Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Debbie has two daughters and six grandchildren. She is married to Jim Mullaney, whom she met while on a mission trip to Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, Michigan. They reside in Perryville.
