Pastor Steve Winiarski is a native of Buffalo, New York. He has earned a Bachelors of Religious Education from Davis College (Johnson City, NY), an M. Div. and PhD in New Testament from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in various church ministry roles over the years, including youth pastor, pastor of evangelism and discipleship, Sunday school teacher, small groups leader, and Bible college professor. He currently teaches Greek online at Missional University. He enjoys preaching, teaching, writing, and spending time with his family. Steve is married to his wife, Sarah. Our Worship Leader is Debbie Mullaney. She is a native of Boyle County and has degrees in social work and religious education from Campbellsville University. She received her teaching certification in moderate to severe disabilities from Eastern Kentucky University. Debbie has a M.Ed. degree in early childhood special education, and a Rank 1 in educational leadership. Additionally, she has an EMT certification. Debbie retired from the Boyle County School system in July, 2016.
Debbie began taking piano lessons at the age of five, and music has always been an important part of her life. She accompanied choirs, vocalists, and instrumentalists both in high school and college. She is both humbled and excited to serve God as the worship leader at Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Debbie has two daughters and five grandchildren. She is married to Jim Mullaney, whom she met while on a mission trip to Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, Michigan. They reside in Perryville.
