Our Mission at Bruner’s Chapel is to meet people where they are and move them closer to Christ in four specific ways:
We Gather for Weekly Worship.
We Grow in deep discipleship through small groups.

We Go serve with the Gospel to our neighbors and the nations.

Wednesday Adult and Youth Dinner and Bible Study at 5:45 - 7:00pm
at the Barry Vandivier Center behind the church at 176 Bruner’s Chapel Road, Harrodsburg. Children meet at the church for dinner and Bible study.
Mission and Vision
We are a Southern Baptist Church (SBC), affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC). Our mission here is: “To impact our community by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and equipping Christ-followers to love God and serve others.”
At Bruner’s Chapel, our vision is to raise up and equip great evangelists and leaders in order reach all of Mercer Co. with the gospel message.
Your First Time Here
What to Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can feel a little uncertain. We want to make it as easy as possible. Here’s what you can expect from the moment you pull in until the moment you leave.
When You Arrive
As you pull onto our campus, you’ll find plenty of parking near the church. There are “Guest Parking” spots near the front entrance of the church. These spots are for you. Handicap entrance is on the left side of the church.
When You Walk In
You’ll be welcomed by friendly people who are glad you’re here, but we won’t put you on the spot. If you have questions or need help finding your way around, just ask. We’ll be happy to help.
If You Have Children
We want your children to be safe, cared for, and excited to come back. We’ll help you find the right place for each child and answer any questions you have before you leave them with us.
Sunday School 10:00 AM
Before our main gathering, we have Sunday School classes for different ages and stages of life. It’s a relaxed setting where you can meet people, open the Bible, ask questions, and begin building relationships.
Sunday Worship 11:00 AM
When we gather for worship, you can expect us to sing together, read Scripture, pray, and hear the Bible preached. Our music includes both old and new songs centered on biblical truth and the glory of Jesus Christ.
The Message
The Bible is at the center of our preaching. You can expect a message that explains what Scripture says, shows why it matters, and helps us respond to God’s Word in everyday life.
If you don’t have a Bible, that’s okay. You’ll find one available for you to use in your pew.
After the Service
There’s no rush to leave. Stick around, meet some people, ask questions, or introduce yourself to our pastor. We’d love the opportunity to meet you personally.
And when you pull out of the parking lot, our hope is simple: that you leave feeling you were welcomed by our church family, heard clearly from God’s Word, and saw the greatness of Jesus Christ among His people and His Word.

2025 Fall Festival was a great success
Our annual Fall Festival was held held on October 18 with lots of free fun, food, games, and inflatables! The always popular 3:16 Production Blacklight Puppets performed near the end of the event. There are more photos on our Facebook page here.

Groups for All Ages
Infants to Seniors, there is something for everyone.
Newly Renovated Children’s Area
Our newly renovated children’s area was designed to provide a safe and comfortable area where children can learn about God’s word through various activities.
BCBC Youth
At Bruner’s Chapel we provide a safe space for students in grades 6-12 to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, study the Word of God, be discipled, and learn how to take an active role in serving our church family and community. We want to partner with our students' families to raise up a generation of young people who honor the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Music is an important part of worship. When we sing, we ascribe to the LORD the glory due His Name. (Psalm 29:2)
In scripture, believers sang both hymns and new songs. At Bruner’s Chapel, we also worship through different genres of music. Music is prayerfully selected with the focus on scripturally-sound lyrics.
Our Praise Team consists of both vocalists and musicians. The team practices on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
We also have a Choir, which sings on special occasions, along with the children of our church.

REFIT® Cardio Class
This free class meets in the Barry Vandivier Center located a few hundred yards behind the church on Bruner’s Chapel Road and is open to the public. Class ends with a short devotional and instructor lead prayer.
